Dr. Jason Squibb

Dr. Jason Squibb

Practice Owner, Veterinarian

Dr. Squibb joined our team in September 2009. He started his career in La Conner, where he worked as a trainer for animals for more than 12 years. He attended the Skagit Valley College, the Central Washington University and graduated from the Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.

He then attended a one-year veterinary internship at the University of Minnesota before becoming a partner veterinarian here at North Cascade Veterinary Hospital. As of January 2015, he has assumed ownership of the hospital, following the retirement of our previous owner Dr. Timothy Howland. He lives with his wife, 2 young children and several pets. In his free time, Dr. Squibb spends quality time with his family and enjoys his fishing trips.
Dr. Karmon Caswell

Dr. Karmon Caswell

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Caswell was welcomed to North Cascade Veterinary Hospital in July 2006. She's a 2002 graduate from the Michigan State University. She's a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful girls. She and her family recently moved into a new home, where she enjoys spending time with her family and her 3 dogs, 1 cat and a flock of chickens. In her free time, Dr. Caswell enjoys hiking, skiing and crafts of any kind.

Dr. Alison Kenyon

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kenyon was the perfect fit for the NCVH team and was welcomed with open arms here in October of 2017. She began as our newest doctor, taking over like a ‘pro’ and receiving rave reviews from our clients right off the bat!

Dr. Kenyon spent her childhood in Kodiak, Alaska before returning to the Pacific Northwest in high school. She completed her undergraduate degree in New York and went to veterinary school in Scotland. She and her husband returned to Sedro Woolley in 2012, and they have acquired an unnecessary abundance of pets. Currently, their herd includes 2 small dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, a large planted aquarium, far too many chickens and several useless sheep.

At home, Dr. Kenyon enjoys gardening and fills the wetter months with reading, quilting and travel. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast, relishing in activities like kayaking, scuba diving, skiing and biking. Last summer, she cultivated a new passion of long-distance hiking, completing 500 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail through Oregon and parts of Washington.

Dr. Jill Youde

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Jill Youde joined the NCVH team in April 2018. She was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and attended Washington State University for her undergraduate and Graduate studies. She graduated cum laude with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992.

One month later, she moved to the Skagit Valley and fell in love with the area! Since then, she has worked in veterinary clinics in Anacortes, Oak Harbor, Mount Vernon (and now us!).

Dr. Youde was bitten by the travel bug at a young age. During college, she studied in London, the south of France, the Ukraine and Australia. She has traveled to 44 different countries and has MANY more on her bucket list!

In her free time, she enjoys spending time in the great outdoors; hiking, skiing and mountain climbing.

Dr. Marshall Bell

Associate Veterinarian

We managed to catch another cougar...and hopefully keep him forever! We (staff and clients alike) have quickly come to absolutely  adore Dr. Bell. His approachable and friendly nature, compassion and gentle care with the critters and great sense of humor allowed him to make his mark on our hearts immediately. There was no question that he was a surefire fit not only as a NCVH team member, but as a provider to our beloved patients and their parents.

Dr. Bell is a 2018 Washington State University, College of Veterinary Medicine graduate. He also acquired his Bachelor's degree in Science and Biology from the University of Washington  in 2012.

He comes from a Japanese-American household where he grew up as the older brother to two younger sisters. He is also recently engaged, where he vacationed in Japan with his fiancee, and they even recently bought a house together where they enjoy their time with their 3 cats, dog and a horse! Congratulations you two!

In his free time, Dr. Bell really enjoys the outdoors where he plays golf and soccer. He also enjoys snowboarding, hiking, biking, kayaking, camping and gardening. He even possesses hidden talents in playing banjo and piano!

Dr. Brittni Huffman

We would like to welcome NCVH newest doctor, Dr. Brittni Huffman! Dr. Huffman  graduated with Honors from the Washington State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Dr. Huffman started her veterinary career at Bellingham Technical College where she obtained her veterinary technician license. During her time at BTC she found her love for veterinary medicine and decided to jump right back into school to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Ecology, Evolution & Organismal Biology at Western Washington University, before being accepted to the WSU Veterinary program.

Dr. Huffman is excited to continue her veterinary education and hopes to soon become licensed in small animal acupuncture.

Dr. Huffman grew up in Burlington Washington. You may have run into her while she was growing up at her parent’s campground, the Burlington KOA, which they owned from 1993-2012.

Dr. Huffman currently lives with her two horses Mistie & Holly, Koda a German Shepherd mix, Tate a Golden retriever, Zephyr a sand boa and a small flock of chickens. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking and trail riding.
